Week 16 Complete

I created two plots to monitor my cumulative miles this year. The first
is miles per week per day. This is actually a good training tool.
A cumulative four-week sliding total measures the total stress a runner has applied to his or her body.
I incorporate pacing data. The idea is to see those values decline over time.

The following plot tracks this year's weekly total against last year's.
Research suggests that half of the decline
in VO2 max in aging runners is due to declines in total weekly mileage and,
some studies indicate, intensity. My total yearly mileage has certainly
has certainly declined in recent years. That should be my next
graph, which will be easy because I wrote a lot
of reusable code for these two plots.
